Breast Physician MD, FRNZCGP, FRACGP, FASBP

Carmen graduated from Medical School in Romania ,specialising in General Medicine and moved to New Zealand in 2001. She became a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners in 2005 and Fellow of the Australasian Society of Breast Physicians in 2009. She has worked in Breast Medicine in New Zealand and Australia and is the current New Zealand Vice-president of the Australasian Society of Breast Physicians.

Carmen is passionate about all aspects of Breast medicine , with a particular interest in early detection of cancers , performing and interpreting ultrasounds and tissue diagnosis interventional procedures.

She is continuously inspired by her patients and their journeys , is actively involved in breast cancer education lecturing to GP groups as well as educating patients and counselling them on their breast health and various management options.
