
Abdul Quadus Talib
Breast Radiologist BHB, MBChB, FRCR
Dr. Abdul Quadus Talib is a Consultant Radiologist specialising in Breast and General Radiology. He has been with St. Marks since August 2024, following his tenure within the UK’s National Health Service. Prior to joining St. Marks, Abdul held a consultant position at Wirral University Teaching Hospital, where he served as the Radiology lead for the Breast Symptomatic Service and spearheaded several key initiatives, including Contrast Enhanced Mammography, advancement in MRI Breast, family history and digitalising workflows. His clinical expertise encompasses CT, MRI, ultrasound and mammogram reporting, as well as advanced diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound-guided and mammogram-guided vacuum-assisted biopsies and excisions. Abdul was awarded with a Local Clinical Excellence Award in 2023 and actively contributed to national breast cancer clinical research. He earned his MBChB from the University of Manchester (UK) and completed his radiology training, specialising in Breast radiology, at Health Education England Northwest (UK) in 2019. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR).
